1. Who we are
These terms govern use of the seid.ro website, the SEID mobile app and the operator console at app.seid.ro (together, the “Services”), operated by REVELATIS ECHO S.R.L., registered office at Str. Clopotari nr. 24, bl. 606, sc. B, et. 1, ap. 1, Iași, Iași County, Romania, unique registration code 40125216, trade register number J2018003012225 (“SEID”, “we”, “us”).
By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services.
2. What we provide
SEID is a selective waste collection system made up of equipment installed in public space, a web console for waste operators and municipalities, and a mobile app for residents.
- seid.ro is an informational website. Nothing is sold through it and no contracts are concluded online.
- The mobile app is free and is intended for people who already hold a selective-collection contract with a partner waste operator.
- The operator console is restricted to authorised users of partner organisations.
3. Accounts and access
Accounts for the mobile app and the operator console are created by the waste operator or by your organisation’s administrator. There is no public sign-up.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out from your account. Tell us immediately at office@seid.ro if you suspect someone else has used your account.
Your account is tied to the contract you hold with the operator. When that contract ends, the operator may suspend your access.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, to the equipment, or to other users’ accounts;
- interfere with the operation of the collection stations or with the integrity of the data they record;
- use another person’s account, card or barcode;
- deposit materials that do not match the indicated type, or that are hazardous or prohibited under the local waste-management regulations;
- use the Services for unlawful purposes or in breach of anyone else’s rights.
We may suspend access in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these rules, informing the operator you hold a contract with.
5. Deposits, quantities and records
The quantities shown in the app come from the stations’ sensors and weighing systems. We make reasonable efforts to keep this data accurate, but it can be affected by technical faults, communication outages or maintenance work.
If you spot a discrepancy, write to us. We will check the record and correct it where appropriate. Any entitlements, tariffs or benefits tied to collected quantities are set by your contract with the waste operator, not by these terms.
6. Availability of the Services
We aim to keep the Services continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, updates or changes, with or without prior notice, and may temporarily suspend access where necessary for security or to fix a fault.
7. Intellectual property
All rights in the Services — the software, the website content, the trade marks, the graphics and the station technology, which is protected by a European patent — belong to REVELATIS ECHO S.R.L. or its licensors.
You may use the Services for the purpose for which they are made available to you. You may not copy, decompile, modify or redistribute the software or the content without our written consent.
8. Limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit arising from use of the Services.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for personal injury caused by our fault, and your rights as a consumer under Romanian law.
9. Personal data
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify users by email or with an in-app message. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably fall to the courts at our registered office in Iași, without prejudice to consumers’ rights to bring proceedings before the courts of their own domicile.
Please write to us first at office@seid.ro — most situations are resolved directly.
As a consumer you may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), anpc.ro, including its alternative dispute resolution (SAL) procedure. The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used.
